Sriramulu praised Modi’s decision on NEET, targeted Karnataka government. Sriramulu Praises PM Modi On Neet Attacks Karnataka Congress Govt

BJP leader B. Sriramulu praised PM Modi’s decision on NEET. Attacking the Congress government of Karnataka, he said that the state is in the grip of drought and instead of providing relief, the government is conducting drone surveys. He also cornered the government on the KPSC scam.

Appreciation of PM Modi’s decision on NEET

Former minister and BJP leader B. Sriramulu praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking “bold decisions in the interest of the future of students” and launched a scathing attack on Karnataka’s Congress government over drought relief, KPSC irregularities and internal party politics. Speaking at a press conference in Bellary, Sriramulu said the confusion surrounding NEET had forced the Center to act decisively. Sriramulu said, “Modi has taken an important decision for the future of children. There was a lot of confusion regarding NEET. That is why Modi took a firm decision.”

He said that a special task force has been formed under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani for examination reforms. “Whoever was involved in the paper leak cases has been sent to jail. There should be fast-track courts and cases should be disposed of within 3 months,” he said. He said a bill is being discussed in Parliament to provide for 10 years’ jail and a fine of Rs 10 crore for paper leaks. “A statutory decision has been taken in the interest of the future of the students. Modi is with the students. A decision has been taken which will not hurt the sentiments of the students,” he said.

Sriramulu’s attack on Karnataka government

Focusing on Karnataka, Sriramulu criticized the state government over the drought. He said, “Is there any government in the state? There is drought in the state. Farmers are in trouble. Lands have dried up. There is no drinking water.”

Targeted regarding drought

He criticized the government for announcing drone survey instead of immediate relief. “Instead of announcing compensation, they are going ahead with drone surveys. Do you need a mirror to see a pimple on your palm? This is how the government is behaving,” he said.

“Farmers are committing suicide. Lakes have dried up. Farmers are making rounds of DC offices. I have requested Ramalinga Reddy to release water into the canals for drinking water,” Sriramulu said.

‘Giving black money to please the high command’

He accused DK Shivakumar, who heads the Guarantee Implementation Committee with ministerial status, of doing nothing for the farmers. “They have given the status of minister to the chairman of the guarantee committee. But they are not doing the work that farmers need. They are only filling the pockets of the guarantee committee members,” he alleged. He further said, “Not just farmers, no one in the state is happy. Only the chairman and deputy members of the guarantee committee are happy.”

Sriramulu further alleged that some ministers were happy because they were earning money by giving “black money to the high command”. He claimed, “Some ministers are happy because they are making themselves rich by taking money to please the high command. DK Shivakumar is giving better ‘black money’ than Siddaramaiah.”

Rahul Gandhi cornered on KPSC scam

Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi, Sriramulu said, “There is nothing wrong in protesting over NEET. Rahul says this is the result of his protest. But who will resign over the KPSC scam?”

He asked, “Rahul is running behind the car as if CM DK Shivakumar is his bodyguard. Will DK or Priyank Kharge resign over this big KPSC corruption?” He demanded that Rahul Gandhi come to Karnataka and protest against the KPSC scam just like he did for NEET. He said, “Who is responsible for the injustice done in KPSC? A complaint was made about sitting for 3 hours in the police station even to lodge an FIR. The Home Minister should clarify on this.”

Taunt on Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar also

Responding to Siddaramaiah’s statement that he will not contest elections in 2028, Sriramulu said the former CM has not announced political retirement. He sarcastically said, “Siddaramaiah says politics has become polluted after DK became CM. Is it because he has lost power? Till he was in power, everything was fine. Now it has become polluted?”

Sriramulu asked, “DK Shivakumar is not good for the party. He is also not good with Siddaramaiah. If Rahul can fight like Satya Harishchandra in Delhi, why not in Karnataka?”

He also targeted Congress-ruled Telangana, and said, “Telangana is completely ruined under the Congress. Without any development, people will soon be in a situation where they will have to throw stones. Congress leaders in the states are running governments by giving black money to the high command.” (ANI)
