Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Congress candidate from Baharampur, said, “After the elections, we are seeing violence and tension from the ruling party at some places. At some places, our party agents were beaten up. Unfortunately, in Baharampur, in a colony where water was supplied from tube wells, TMC felt that perhaps the people of that colony might not have voted for them, so to take revenge, they ensured that they did not get water. Only TMC can do this.”
