KKR became the fourth team to face fine this season!
So far 22 matches have been played in the 19th season of IPL. Among these, KKR has become the fourth team to face fine for slow over rate. Earlier, Punjab Kings captained by Shreyas Iyer had been fined twice. At the same time, Gujarat Titans captain Shubhman Gill and Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya have also paid a fine once each for slow over rate.
There was a big change in the rules of IPL
Let us tell you that according to the earlier rules, if a team committed the mistake of slow over rate three times, then its captain was banned for the next match. But now the rules of IPL have been changed and the rule banning the captain has been removed.
BCCI also took action against Abhishek Sharma
Here, BCCI has also imposed a fine of 25% of the match fee on Sunrisers Hyderabad player Abhishek Sharma for inappropriate behavior in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. However, BCCI has not clarified why this fine has been imposed on him.
How was the Chennai-KKR match?
The condition of 2024 IPL champion Kolkata Knight Riders is in bad shape this season and their hopes of opening a winning account against CSK are also dashed.
