Harsh, who describes himself as a candidate who has appeared for NEET exam several times, expressed his views on medical admission, reservation policy and counseling system in public forums. After this, his videos started going viral and the campaign running on social media named ‘Reservation Hatao Andolan (RHA)’ also got new discussion. Supporters are calling him the voice of general category students, while on the other hand, people standing in favor of reservation are disagreeing with his views. Who is Harsh Dubey?
Harsh Dubey describes himself as a student preparing for NEET. In TV debates and on social media, he said that he has appeared in the NEET exam several times, but missed the medical college seat by a few marks each time. He claims that he came very close to the cut-off in four separate attempts, but could not get admission in MBBS. Whereas many students got admission on reservation. After this experience, he started raising questions on the medical admission process.
