West Bengal New Government Plans: A big change is knocking in the politics of West Bengal. Due to the tussle between the central and state governments for years, the people of Bengal were deprived of many government benefits, but now with the change of keys of power, the doors of Delhi schemes are going to open for Bengal. BJP has made it clear in its ‘Sankalp Patra’ that it will first complete all those works which were stalled due to political tussle. Let us know what big changes are going to come in your life after the formation of the new government.
1. Free treatment up to ₹5 lakh
Till now the people of Bengal were dependent on the ‘Swasthya Sathi’ scheme, but now the poor can get the support of Ayushman Bharat. This means that in case of serious illness, the government will provide cashless treatment up to ₹ 5 lakh every year. Now there will be no need to take loan or sell land for treatment.
2. Your permanent home
There has been a lot of controversy regarding the fund for building houses in Bengal. BJP government promises that now the pace of PM Awas Yojana will speed up and every poor family will get their permanent house. Transparency will be brought by eliminating irregularities.
3. MNREGA money directly into account
There was a tussle between the Center and the state regarding the payment of laborers, due to which poor laborers were not able to get wages (MGNREGA) on time. Now in the new system, along with employment, workers are expected to get money on time and directly in their bank accounts.
4. Silver of craftsmen and artisans
Till now PM Vishwakarma Yojana was not applicable in Bengal for goldsmiths, blacksmiths, potters and other handicraftsmen. Now BJP can implement it on priority, which will help the artisans with training, low interest loans and new technology so that they can expand their own work.
5. Security cover of crop insurance for farmers
There is a lot of risk in farming. Bengal government was out of this scheme, but now farmers’ crops will get protection through PM Crop Insurance Scheme. Be it drought or flood, it will now be easier for farmers to get compensation for their losses.
6. Monthly assistance of ₹3,000 for women
Playing a big bet, BJP has promised financial assistance of ₹ 3,000 per month for women and 33% reservation in government jobs. This step is being taken to make the women of the state financially independent.
7. Special scheme for fisherman brothers
The benefits of ‘PM Matsya Sampada Yojana’ can now reach the fishermen of Bengal also. This will remove obstacles in their welfare and registration and they will be able to get direct government benefits.
8. Incentives for tea garden workers
Mamata government had not approved the ‘Tea Workers Incentive Scheme’ for the brothers and sisters working in the tea gardens of North Bengal. BJP promises that this scheme will be started immediately as soon as it comes to power.
9. ‘PM Shri School’ for children
PM Shri Schools are being opened across the country to teach modern methods of education, which were not approved in Bengal. Now these schools will open in the state also, which will improve the level of education.
10. Ujjwala 3.0 for kitchen and other benefits
Many schemes like PM Ujjwala 3.0, PM Kusum and Khelo India will now reach every corner of Bengal. Apart from this, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi will also be implemented with full force, which was delayed a lot earlier.
