In the review meeting of development schemes, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave many important instructions related to ownership scheme, Narmada Samagra Mission, drinking water system, religious tourism and farmers. He emphasized on effective implementation of government schemes.
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fully committed to improving the living standards of the people of the state and implementing public welfare schemes effectively. He asked all the departments to fulfill their responsibilities seriously and solve the problems arising in the implementation of the schemes in a positive manner. The Chief Minister was addressing the review meeting of nodal departments organized in the Ministry on Friday. Senior officials including Chief Secretary Anurag Jain were present in the meeting.
Emphasis on registry in women’s names in ownership scheme
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave instructions to run a free registry campaign of populated land in rural areas. He said that under the ownership scheme, priority should be given to registry in the name of women. He also said that the process of distributing free pattas to eligible rural families and declaring abadi land should be simplified. The Chief Minister instructed the collectors to work with sensitivity by setting time limits.
Narmada Samagra Mission will be reviewed every month
While reviewing the ongoing work under Narmada Samagra Mission, the Chief Minister said that people should be connected to this campaign at the Gram Panchayat level. He said that Mother Narmada is the lifeline of the state and it is important to preserve its sources. He directed that to maintain the natural beauty, there should be limited construction around the origin places and distant satellite townships should be developed. A meeting will be held on the first Monday of every month to review the work related to the mission.
Special focus on drinking water system in summer
While reviewing the drinking water system during summer, the Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure availability of water at the Gram Panchayat and ward level. He stressed on making water conservation a mass campaign and talked about running the campaign “from Janmabhoomi to Karmabhoomi”. Officials told in the meeting that under the Amrit-1 and Amrit-2 schemes, the work of drinking water and sewerage management is going on at a fast pace in the state.
Government’s focus on Chitrakoot and religious tourism development
The Chief Minister said that a joint meeting will be organized with the Uttar Pradesh government for the overall development of Chitrakoot Dham. A plan will be prepared to maintain the uninterrupted flow of Mandakini river. He also directed to speed up the development works of Omkareshwar and Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga. Also asked to complete the development work related to Shri Ram Van Gaman Path, Shri Krishna Pathey and Chitrakoot Dham within the time limit.
Home guard and religious places arrangements will be strengthened
The Chief Minister gave instructions to strengthen the home guard system at Mahakal Mahalok and other major religious places. He said that this will lead to better management at religious places and will also increase the capacity of the Home Guard force. Apart from this, District Tourism Councils were asked to ensure active participation in tourism activities.
Relief to farmers, cotton market fee reduced
The Chief Minister said that the market fee on cotton in Khandwa and Burhanpur mandis is being reduced from Re 1 to 55 paise. This will provide relief to cotton producing farmers and make it easier for them to sell their produce.
Biometric attendance will be implemented in all government offices
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the biometric attendance system in the Ministry and other government buildings. Describing it as a positive and innovative initiative, he gave instructions to implement it in all the government offices of the state. He said that this will improve efficiency and timeliness.
Government also emphasizes on technical education and employment
The Chief Minister directed to start sector based training in ITI and Polytechnic institutes as per the needs of industrial areas. He said that industries should make arrangements to train local youth so that employment opportunities can increase. The bifurcation of Rajiv Gandhi Technological University into three separate technical universities and restructuring of medical universities were also discussed in the meeting.
Skill development activities will start in Sandipani schools
The Chief Minister talked about conducting skill development, computer training and coaching activities after academic hours in Sandipani school campuses. He also stressed on implementing common hostel system to promote social harmony.
AI center and deep tech park will be developed in the state
The Chief Minister directed the officials to work by setting a time limit for developing AI Centre, Data Center and Deep Tech Park in the state. He said that work should also be done towards providing low cost housing to the common people and promoting environment friendly construction methods.
