Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha paid a surprise visit to GB Pant Hospital in Agartala. Health Minister Saha took stock of the hospital infrastructure, facilities and problems of the patients and gave strict instructions to the officials to resolve them immediately.

Agartala (Tripura) [भारत]July 14 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha conducted a surprise inspection of GB Pant Hospital and directed that all issues including the problems of patients should be resolved properly.

The burden of patients is high, the arrangements should be improved: CM

Saha, who is also the state health minister, said GB Pant Hospital is the main hospital and people come here from all over Tripura. He said, “Because of this, the patient load here is always high. Today I have come here to inspect the hospital to see if there is any problem or not. I have taken stock of the infrastructure, maintenance, availability of doctors, support staff and other facilities. Wherever repairs or improvements were needed, I have directed the secretary and asked him to look into all matters properly, maintain all the facilities and solve the problems of the patients. I will come again to inspect.”

Problems will be solved by meeting with engineers

Saha said he would hold a meeting with the IGM and executive engineers working for GB Pant to resolve all the problems. He further said, “We have to ensure that all the problems are solved. We have inaugurated the civil hospital, and we are planning to implement the same in GB. We are considering it. GB’s infrastructure is strong, and we can do it if we want. All the departments will be inspected, and I will come again. We are also renovating the medicine ward.”
