New Delhi: The State Bank of India (SBI) Group has made huge investments in the stock market in Q4 of 2025-26. During the January-March quarter, the group invested approximately Rs 1,759 crore for acquiring new stakes in three companies.

DLF Limited
DLF Limited, one of India’s largest real estate companies, witnessed acquiring a new 1.1% stake in it in the January-March quarter of FY26. The total value of this investment was around Rs 1,506.3 crore. Around 26.6 million shares of DLF were held by SBI in the last quarter of the previous financial year.
The of DLF Limited settled with 1.97 per cent gains at Rs 601.30 on Friday.
It has delivered a 146% return to its investors over the past five years. Over the past six months and 1 year, the stock declined 22 and 11 per cent, respectively.
Power Mech Projects
SBI Flexicap Fund increased 1.8 per cent stake in Power Mech Projects Limited in Q4 of FY26. It is a leading company in the infrastructure and power sector. The investment was valued at approximately Rs 120.9 crore. Around 5.80 lakh shares were in possession of SBI in the March 2025-26 quarter.
Power Mech Projects share price ended at Rs 2,365 on Friday. The stock has turned out to be a multibagger as it surged around 722 per cent over the past five years.
Safari Industries
SBI Life Insurance Company raised its stake in Safari Industries India Limited in the January-March quarter of FY26. It is a luggage and lifestyle products manufacturer. A 1.5% stake was acquired in Safari Ind by SBI Life Insurance Company. The investment was valued at approximately Rs 114.5 crore. The group held 7.37 lakh shares in the last quarter of the previous financial quarter.
Safari Industries India Limited shares closed at Rs 1,572.20 on Friday. The stock rallied 448 per cent in the last 5 years.
