Maharashtra Viral Video: A surprising case has come to light from Pune. Here, a label of ‘Made in Pakistan’ has been found on a bed sheet purchased from a temple fair, after which the police has started investigation. This incident took place in Chinchwad area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. A woman had bought this bedsheet from the Sankashti Chaturthi fair held near the Morya Gosavi temple complex. While purchasing he did not find anything strange in it. But when she came home and started washing the bedsheet, she saw a tag written ‘Made in Pakistan’ on it.
The woman was shocked to see this. He immediately made a video of it and shared it on social media. In the video, she is raising the question that how can a product made in Pakistan be sold in a local market in Maharashtra? Within no time this video went viral and the matter reached the authorities.
After the video spread rapidly, Pimpri-Chinchwad police swung into action and ordered an investigation into the matter. The police have formed a special team which will find out where this bedsheet came from and who was selling it in the fair. Along with this, the police has also written a letter to Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation asking them to take action against such shopkeepers.
According to reports, this chadar was purchased on the occasion of Sankashti Chaturthi on Wednesday, when there was a huge crowd of devotees at the fair. This incident has happened at a time when just a few days ago, three people were arrested in Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra for selling cosmetic products labeled ‘Made in Pakistan’.
Now the investigating officers are trying to find out what is the real source of this bedsheet, who is its supplier and whether any big distribution network is working behind it. The police will take further legal action only on the basis of the facts revealed in the investigation.
