A person named Kirit Patel, who lives here, has written a letter to the District Collector seeking permission for euthanasia. The man claims that he is under severe mental stress due to his wife’s alleged harassment and ongoing court disputes.
Very serious allegations made against wife
According to reports, Kirit Patel has made very serious allegations against his wife in his application. However, these claims have not yet been confirmed by any official agency or court. In the letter, the man has said that his wife is misusing the laws related to domestic violence meant for the protection of women and repeatedly files false complaints against him. The man alleges that his wife acts like a predatory bride who targets husbands through legal maneuvers and demands for money. He claimed that the woman had collected money from her previous husbands in a similar manner.
Kirit Patel also alleged in the letter that his wife had tried to harm the child from his first marriage. The man says that he approached the police about this and tried to lodge a complaint but the police did not register any FIR in the matter.
He was not heard anywhere
The man says that he approached the police and senior administration officials several times regarding his problem but he was not heard anywhere. Due to disappointment from all sides and increasing mental stress, he got tired and asked the Collector for permission to die.
