Weather Today: Monsoon remains fully active in many states of the country. On July 23, the impact of rain, thunder and strong winds will be seen in different areas of Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Maharashtra. At some places there will be light to moderate rain and at some places there is a possibility of heavy rain and storm. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, people will see fluctuations in the weather for the next few days.
Delhi-NCR: Light rain will provide relief, humidity will remain intact
The maximum temperature in Delhi on July 23 is expected to be around 33 degrees and the minimum will be 22 degrees Celsius. The sky will be cloudy and there may be light rain or drizzle. You will feel humid throughout the day, but there will be some respite from the heat due to rain. July 24 is also expected to be cloudy and the temperature may be around 33/23 degrees.
Uttar Pradesh: Heavy rain in many districts, only light showers at some places
The weather is going to be most active in Uttar Pradesh. It will be cloudy and there will be intermittent rain in many districts including Agra, Ayodhya, Banda, Ballia, Bareilly, Bijnor, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj and Varanasi. Heavy rain warning continues in Banda, while possibility of heavy rain has been predicted in Varanasi also. There may be rain and thundershowers in Ayodhya, Agra and many other cities. Rain is likely to continue in most areas on July 24.
Madhya Pradesh: Rain and thundershowers continue
There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Bhopal, Indore, Chitrakoot and Ujjain on July 23. The maximum temperature in Bhopal and Indore may remain between 31 to 32 degrees. The weather in Gwalior will be relatively normal and partly cloudy sky is expected. There is a possibility of rain and lightning again in Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain on July 24.

Chhattisgarh: Rain continues in most parts
Raipur, Durg, Ambikapur and Saraipali will remain cloudy on July 23. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in Raipur, Durg and Ambikapur, while there may be moderate rain or thunderstorm in Saraipali. The maximum temperature in Raipur and Durg is expected to be around 27 degrees and in Saraipali it is expected to be around 28 degrees. The same weather is likely to persist on July 24 also.
Rajasthan: Thunderstorm and rain in many cities
There may be rain and thundershowers in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur and Bikaner on July 23. The maximum temperature in Jaipur is expected to be around 33 degrees, in Ajmer it will be 30 degrees and in Udaipur it will be 29 degrees. There will be partial clouds in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur, while there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Jodhpur also on July 24.

Haryana: Effect of strong winds along with rain
Ambala, Gurugram, Hisar, Karnal, Narnaul, Rohtak and Bhiwani will remain cloudy on July 23. There is a possibility of thunderstorms and strong surface winds in many districts including Ambala. There may be lightning along with rain in Gurugram, Hisar and Rohtak also. Rain is expected to continue in Karnal on July 24.
Maharashtra: Continuous rain in Mumbai, no relief in Pune-Nashik too
Moderate rain is expected in Mumbai’s Borivali, Chembur, Colaba, Mulund, Powai, Santa Cruz and Worli on July 23. Rain will continue in Pune, light rain in Nashik and moderate rain in Ratnagiri. There is a possibility of rain in Ratnagiri on July 24, while continuous rain may continue in Pune.

According to the forecast, monsoon will remain active in most of the states till July 24. Light rain in Delhi, continuous rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh, rain with thunder and lightning in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, rain and strong winds in Rajasthan and Haryana and continuous rain in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai and Konkan region.
