Vida has partnered with CG Motors, part of Nepal’s Chaudhary Group, for sales and distribution. The launch comes at an interesting time for Hero. Vida Nepal Prices Vs India

Pricing in Nepal is noticeably higher than in India. Vida DIRT.E K3 is priced at NPR 1,99,900, which works out to roughly Rs 1.24 lakh, compared to Rs 69,990 in India. VX2 Go 2.2 kWh costs NPR 2,99,900, or around Rs 1.86 lakh after conversion, versus Rs 99,490 in India.

Hero Looks To Grow Exports

Vida’s overseas expansion is also significant when viewed against  .Hero remained India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer by domestic sales in June 2026 with 5,02,890 units. However, Honda was close behind at 4,68,956 units, while fast-growing TVS registered 4,11,014 units.

The picture changes considerably in exports. Hero shipped 38,269 two-wheelers in June, well behind Bajaj at 2,22,439 units, TVS at 1,54,403 units and Honda at 59,325 units. During Apr-Jun 2026, Hero exports stood at 1,05,206 units compared to Bajaj’s 6,36,005 units, TVS’ 4,19,737 units and Honda’s 1,98,123 units.

With Vida now entering Nepal, Hero has an opportunity to build its EV business beyond India while simultaneously expanding its relatively smaller international footprint. Nepal could therefore serve as the first step in a much broader global rollout for Vida.
