Actor Ram Charan underwent successful wrist surgery at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore on Monday morning.
The actor reportedly suffered a cartilage tear while performing intense action sequences for his recently released film Peddi. However, he postponed the surgery due to the film’s promotional commitments.
Ram Charan was seen wearing a bandage around his wrist during several promotional events, raising concerns among fans. On Sunday, he was spotted at Hyderabad’s Begumpet Airport while leaving for Coimbatore.
His father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha, wife Upasana Konidela and other family members were reportedly present at the hospital to support him.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala had earlier confirmed the development and wished the actor a smooth procedure and a speedy recovery.
The surgery was completed successfully, and Ram Charan is now expected to take rest before resuming his professional commitments.
