Banda becomes the hottest city, mercury reaches 47.6°C

On Monday, Banda in Uttar Pradesh became one of the hottest cities not only in the country but in the world. The temperature recorded here was 47.6°C. Earlier in 2022 and in April this year, the mercury had reached 47.4°C, but this time a new record was created. The heat was no less in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, the temperature here was recorded at 46.4°C. Whereas in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, the mercury reached 46°C, which is the highest in the last 10 years.
