CM Yogi has instructed the officials to immediately provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the dependents of the workers who lost their lives in the accident and Rs 50 thousand each to the injured.

Relief and rescue operation conducted on war footing with SDRF

As soon as information about the accident was received, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath immediately took cognizance of it and directed the district administration to speed up relief and rescue operations. He said that operations should be conducted on war footing in collaboration with SDRF teams so that the affected people can get assistance as soon as possible.

The Chief Minister has also given instructions to ensure better treatment arrangements for the injured. Also, officials have been asked to provide all possible assistance to the affected families. Administrative officials have been clearly warned that any kind of negligence in relief work will not be tolerated.

Heavy damage in many districts due to storm and rain

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took cognizance of the damage caused by strong storm, heavy rain and lightning in many districts of the state late on Thursday night. Due to bad weather, life has been affected in many areas and property has also been damaged.

CM has instructed all the District Magistrates to immediately go to the field and survey the damage and quickly release the relief amount to the affected people. He said that relief and rescue operations should be continuously monitored and updated reports of the situation should be sent to the government every three hours.

Information about relief work will be shared on social media

The Chief Minister asked the officials to disseminate information about compensation distribution, relief camps, rescue operations and other administrative activities to the general public through social media platforms. With this, people will be able to get correct and timely information.
