Comedian-actor Krushna Abhishek cheered for his wife Kashmera Shah after she shared a message about body positivity, self-acceptance and embracing one’s imperfections on social media.
Kashmera took to Instagram on Monday and shared a video montage featuring a series of glamorous pictures in which she flaunted her curves.
The Laughter Chefs contestant said she loves and embraces her body despite its flaws, while also revealing that she has decided to go on a diet.
“Just a reminder to myself that I am fierce and unedited and not shy at all of my flaws. This is my body and I own it and I love it. Now going on a diet so help me god (sic),” she wrote.
Krushna reacted to the post with a simple “Wow”, while several followers praised Kashmera for her confidence and self-acceptance.
One user wrote, “You are absolutely fierce, unapologetic and beautiful just the way you are!”, while another commented, “My queen, always beautiful, always fearless!”
A third follower wrote, “Own it, embrace it, love it! You’re beautiful in your own skin.”
Meanwhile, Kashmera recently expressed her support for her sister-in-law Sunita Ahuja amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Sunita’s strained relationship with actor Govinda.
Speaking to reporters outside actor Abhishek Kumar’s birthday party, Kashmera said she stood by Sunita and would protect the women in her family.
“I am with Sunita. She has never raised her voice earlier. She has never said that this is wrong, that is wrong but if she is saying it today, so there must be something wrong,” she said.
“I will be standing with all the ladies of my family. I will protect my family no matter what,” she added.
Kashmera and Sunita had shared a long-standing rift that continued for several years before the two eventually reconciled on the sets of the cooking reality show Laughter Chefs, where Kashmera and Krushna participated as contestants.
