Asin Thottumkal, who has been away from the limelight for many years, has surprised everyone by posting unseen pictures of her daughter from the Onam 2026 celebration. She posted a bunch of snaps of her daughter, Arin, on her Instagram story, which looked stunning in a yellow Pattu Pavadai (a traditional Soyth Indian two-piece ethnic outfit for young girls). The snaps are now going viral on social media, and we must say, it is the most beautiful thing you will see on the internet. One of the photos also features Asin’s husband, Rahul Sharma.
Meet Asin’s Daughter Arin
treated fans with a bunch of pictures of her daughter Arin, in which the 9-year-old is seen exuding elegance in a traditional South Indian look. She is seen wearing a yellow dress and doing the floral decoration at her home.
In one of the pictures, Asin’s daughter Arin and her husband, Rahul Sharma, are seen making a floral rangoli (pookalam). She wrote, “This year I stepped back and let her takeover the ‘Pookalam’ completely.” It has to be noted that Arin single-handedly did the pookalam.

About Asin
Coming back to Asin, the actress made her acting debut with 2001’s Malayalam film, Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka. She made her Telugu debut in 2003 with the film Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. In 2008, Asin made her Bollywood debut with ’s blockbuster film, Ghajini. It was the first Rs 100 crore film in Hindi cinema. Asin won the Filmfare Best Debut Female award in 2009 for her performance in Ghajini. After that, the actress worked in London Dreams, Ready, Housefull 2, Bol Bachchan, Khiladi 786 and All Is Well.
Her last film, All Is Well, was released in 2015, which starred Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak in key roles. It flopped at the box office. In 2016, Asin got married to Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by a Hindu ceremony. She quit acting and moved to Delhi after her marriage. She welcomed a baby girl, Arin, on October 24, 2017.
