Actor Emraan Hashmi has unveiled the first glimpse of his upcoming action entertainer ‘Gunmaaster G9’, offering audiences a preview of a story that blends action, romance and music.
The glimpse sets the stage for a high-energy narrative while also hinting at the chemistry between Hashmi and the film’s lead cast. Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Hashmi wrote, “The World of G9 Begins. Romance. Music. Action. #GunmaasterG9 brings it all together in a story that’s ready to take you on a ride.”
The film is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on November 27, 2026.
Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and producer Deepak Mukut have brought together Emraan Hashmi, music composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya and director Aditya Datt nearly two decades after their first collaboration in 2005 on “Gunmaaster G9”. The project also marks another musical association between Hashmi and Reshammiya, with Himesh composing the music for the upcoming film.
Producer Deepak Mukut said the teaser marks the beginning of the film’s promotional campaign and is intended to build anticipation for its theatrical release.
Director Aditya Datt said the film follows Hashmi’s character as he goes to great lengths to protect the woman he loves from threats surrounding her. He described the project as a combination of action, romance and music aimed at offering Hashmi’s fans a complete entertainer.
Hashmi said he shares a strong creative rapport with Datt, adding that their understanding of each other helps them bring out the best in their work. He revealed that he plays Eshwar, “an ordinary dairy farm owner who is willing to go to any lengths for his beloved.”
‘Gunmaaster G9’ stars Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D’Souza, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Singh. The film has been produced by Deepak Mukut, Hunar Mukut and Sangeeta Ahir and presented by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. It is directed by Aditya Datt.
