Actress Karishma Tanna has revisited a cherished memory from the early days of her pregnancy, recalling a photoshoot she attended when she was one month pregnant and had not yet shared the news with those around her.
Sharing throwback pictures on social media, the ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and ‘Naagin’ actress reflected on the emotions she experienced while quietly carrying the secret of her pregnancy.
Tanna said she entered the photoshoot feeling excited, emotional and nervous, while keeping her thoughts and the impending changes in her life to herself.
“One month pregnant in this picture…I remember walking into this shoot carrying the most beautiful secret,” she wrote. “I was excited, emotional, nervous and silently dreaming about everything that was about to change.”
Looking back, Tanna said she feels affection for the version of herself captured in those photographs. She also spoke about gradually working towards feeling strong, fit and confident in her body again after becoming a mother.
She said the journey would be gradual and gentle, adding that her return would not simply be about reclaiming her earlier self but about embracing her new identity as a mother.
In the photographs, Tanna is seen wearing a white T-shirt with black jeans and shoes. She opted for an understated yet stylish look while posing for the shoot, with some pictures featuring the T-shirt partially open.
Tanna and her husband Varun Bangera welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on July 29, 2026.
