The focus of investigation in Lohagarh Fort murder case is now on information about Siya Goyal’s family. According to the police, the family was aware of the affair, but whether they were aware of the alleged murder conspiracy or not still remains a mystery.
Ketan Agarwal Murder Case: As the investigation of Pune Rural Police is progressing in the murder case of businessman Ketan Aggarwal (26) that took place in the historical Lohagarh Fort, the story is getting more complicated. Till now, only fiancee Siya Goyal (20) and her lover Chetan Choudhary (22) were under suspicion in this case. But new police sources and statements of Ketan’s helpless father Anil Aggarwal have brought a new and surprising twist, which has forced the entire society to think. The biggest question that is roaming in everyone’s mind at this time is – did Siya’s family already know about this dreadful and cruel conspiracy of hers?
Police’s big revelation: The family knew about the affair, but…
Police sources related to the investigation have given a very shocking indication. According to the police, Sia and Chetan Chaudhary were in a relationship with each other long before the engagement with Ketan Aggarwal was fixed. The surprising thing is that Sia’s family had full knowledge about this affair. However, he was strongly against this relationship as he did not consider Chetan to be a suitable life partner for his daughter.

Now investigators are working on the theory that it was because of this strong opposition from the family that Sia agreed to get engaged to Ketan as a deliberate strategy to divert the attention of the family and continue her relationship with Chetan behind his back. Although the police have not yet made any member of Sia’s family a direct co-accused in the murder conspiracy, their role is being closely investigated.

The biggest twist in this entire bloody story has come from the statement of Ketan’s father Anil Aggarwal. He completely rejected all those media reports in which it was being said that the Aggarwal family was more eager for this marriage. An emotional and angry Anil Aggarwal said, “We had initially completely rejected the marriage proposal. Ketan was not mentally ready for marriage yet and we felt that Sia was too young. But the Goyal family, whom we had known for the last 35-40 years, kept coming to us. They repeatedly requested us to reconsider. Due to their pressure and old friendship, we finally agreed. We had never dreamed of I also did not think that the result of our decency would be the dead body of my 26-year-old son.”

Describing the horrific scene that took place at the fort on June 18, Ketan’s father Anil Aggarwal exposed the cruelty of Siya and her lover. He told that the accused Chetan Chaudhary had deliberately reached Lohagarh Fort on a two-wheeler so that no one could doubt. According to the father, “Both Chetan and Siya together went up to the isolated point of the fort where Ketan was standing. There they first attacked Ketan’s head or body with something heavy, so that he could not hold it, and then threw him directly from above into a deep ditch.” He made a scathing attack on Siya and said that if she did not want to get married, she would have flatly refused. We would have broken the engagement immediately. Where does such a cruel thought of killing someone’s young son come from? Is this part of their upbringing?
‘Countdown’ to death continues even after engagement
Police allege that even after the engagement, Siya and Chetan were in constant touch with each other and both of them had planned the murder for weeks. Under this alleged conspiracy, Sia first hid Ketan’s passport and got his pre-wedding shoot trip to Bali cancelled. After this, three unsuccessful attempts were made to kill Ketan. The accused kept visiting Lohagarh Fort again and again and recceing the ‘perfect spot’ and the right moment. Ultimately, on June 18, on the pretext of Sia’s birthday, Ketan was brought to the brink of death. Initially, Siya tried her best to explain it as an accident of slipping, but Ketan’s claim of being an experienced trekker and the growing suspicion of the family solved this whole blind mystery. Now the police is investigating deeply whether Siya got the permission to meet Chetan even after the engagement or not with the tacit consent of her family.
