Pune’s much talked about Ketan Aggarwal murder case has once again raised many questions regarding trust, deception and well-planned conspiracy in relationships. The same relationship that the family had confided in their close acquaintances is now at the center of a sensational murder investigation. The facts emerging in the police investigation are pointing towards seeing this case not as a simple accident, but as a possible conspiracy.
Ketan’s worries started increasing after the engagement
According to the FIR, the engagement of Ketan Agarwal and Siya Praveen Goyal took place in February 2026 at a prestigious hotel in Pune. This relationship was arranged through known relatives of both the families. Initially everything appeared normal, but with time Ketan started noticing changes in Siya’s behaviour.
According to family members, Ketan often discussed at home that Siya argues over small matters and hides many things from him. He had also raised this question with his parents whether complete information was collected about the girl. However, the family did not take his apprehensions seriously citing kinship and acquaintanceship.
One name kept coming up again and again
In the complaint, Ketan’s father has claimed that Sia’s phone was often busy and during conversations she would constantly mention Chetan Chaudhary. Along with this, she repeatedly asked Ketan to go to Lohagarh Fort.
Investigation has also revealed that both of them had earlier gone to Lohagarh on 31 May and 14 June. Despite this, Siya was insisting on going to the same place once again. At that time the family considered it a normal request, but now this incident has become an important part of the investigation.
Last trip on the pretext of birthday
According to the FIR, on June 17, Sia called Ketan and said that the next day was her birthday and she wanted to celebrate it by visiting Lohagarh Fort. Initially Ketan’s mother opposed the trip, but after persistent insistence the family agreed.
On the morning of 18th June, Ketan left home on a bike and left for Lohagarh, taking Sia with him on the way. The family had no idea that this would prove to be his last journey.
Accident or conspiracy? Police is collecting evidence
A few hours later on the same day, Ketan’s family received information that he had fallen into the moat of Lohagarh Fort. He was taken out after the rescue operation, but doctors declared him dead.
Initially it was considered an accident, but later after the complaint of the family and the facts coming to light, the matter reached the investigation of murder. Now Pune Police is thoroughly investigating the mobile call detail records, location history, digital evidence and CCTV footage.
Investigating agencies say that by combining all the technical and scientific evidence, it is being found out who was present there at the time of the incident and what happened at Lohagarh Fort that day. This investigation will now decide the direction of this high-profile case.
