Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary inspected several development projects of Raigarh including Marine Drive, ISBT and Oxygen and gave instructions to complete the work on time.

Raipur. Raigarh MLA and State Finance Minister Shri O.P. Chaudhary inspected various important development projects going on in the municipal corporation area on Monday. During this, he visited the site and inspected many major construction works including Marine Drive, Interstate Bus Stand (ISBT), FCI Oxygen, Mitthumuda Pond, Kisan Rice Mill Oxygen and Kayaghat Bridge. He took information from the officials about the current status of the works and directed to complete all the projects with quality within the stipulated time frame.

Raigarh Development Project: Aim to build a modern and convenient city

During the inspection, Finance Minister Shri Choudhary said that it is his priority to include Raigarh among the most modern, organized and civic facilities-equipped cities of the state. He said that after the completion of projects related to roads, transport, environment protection, water infrastructure and urban facilities, Raigarh will present a new example of development.

Marine Drive Raigarh: Target to be completed by November

While inspecting the Marine Drive project under construction in Pragati Nagar, the Finance Minister reviewed the quality and pace of the construction works. He expressed satisfaction over the timely completion of the main box culvert and diversion construction work and praised the concerned agencies.

He said that Marine Drive will not be limited to providing only transportation facilities, but it will develop as the new identity of Raigarh. This project will enhance the beauty of the city, improve the traffic system and will also provide an attractive public space to the citizens. He directed the officials to complete this project by the month of November.

ISBT Raigarh: State-of-the-art bus terminal will increase connectivity

While inspecting the under construction Inter State Bus Stand (ISBT), Shri Choudhary said that this project has been planned keeping in mind the needs of the next 40 years. He said that the new bus terminal will have the facility to operate 30 buses at a time. Apart from this, parking and necessary space has also been reserved for 40 additional buses.

For the convenience of passengers, a modern waiting area is being built, where there will be seating arrangements for about 550 people. Besides, a separate workshop area is also being developed for repair and maintenance of buses. He said that this bus terminal will provide better transport connectivity to Raigarh with other major cities of the state and the country.

Oxyzone Project Raigarh: Greenery and clean environment will get a boost

The Finance Minister also inspected the Oxygen Project being developed in the FCI campus. He described this green area, which is being prepared in an area of ​​about seven acres, as very important for the environmental balance of the city. He directed the officials to develop two entry points in Oxygen Zone keeping in mind the convenience of the citizens. Shri Choudhary said that development of green areas is extremely important amidst the rapid urban expansion. This project will play an important role in providing clean, healthy and better environment to the city residents.

Environment Protection in Raigarh: Development and environment together

Shri Chaudhary said that along with development works, equal importance is being given to environmental protection in Raigarh. Under this thinking, along with the construction of modern infrastructure in the city, green projects are also being given priority. Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Jeevardhan Chauhan, Collector Mr. Mayank Chaturvedi and officials of various departments were also present during the inspection.
