In the 38th meeting of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board in Raipur, important decisions were taken on tourism development, new projects, investment, infrastructure and improving tourist places.
Raipur. The 38th meeting of the Board of Directors of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board was held on Monday at the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Headquarters in Raipur. In the meeting, development of tourism sector of the state, review of ongoing schemes, new tourism projects and future strategies were discussed in detail. Important decisions taken in the meeting are considered important for the tourism sector of Chhattisgarh. The objective of these decisions is to strengthen the tourism identity of the state and to give new impetus to tourism activities.
Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Meeting: Important meeting held in the presence of Chairman Neelu Sharma
The meeting was presided over by Shri Neelu Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board. During this, Secretary of Tourism Department, Dr. S. Bharatidasan, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Mr. Vivek Acharya, Under Secretary Mrs. Ruchi Sharma, Deputy General Manager Mrs. Poonam Sharma, Director of Culture Department Mr. Sanjay Kannauje and senior officers of various departments and members of the Tourism Board were present.
Green Initiative: The meeting started with tree plantation.
The meeting started with the message of environmental protection. On this occasion, Managing Director Mr. Vivek Acharya, Chairman of Tourism Board Mr. Neelu Sharma and Tourism Secretary Dr. S. Expressed his commitment towards green environment by gifting saplings to Bharathidasan. Meanwhile, Deputy General Manager Mrs. Poonam Sharma welcomed the present officers and members by presenting them saplings.
Tourism Development Plan: Detailed review of tourism projects and schemes
In the meeting, the progress of the development works and schemes run by the Tourism Board was assessed in detail. Special emphasis was laid on timely completion of projects, maintaining quality and strengthening tourism infrastructure. Along with this, developing better facilities for tourists, making major tourist destinations more attractive and connecting them with modern facilities were also discussed in detail.
Tourism Promotion: Special focus on promotion, investment and employment
Upcoming tourism programs, publicity campaigns, possibilities of private investment and strategies to link tourism with local employment and economy were also discussed in the meeting. The members stressed that through tourism development, new employment opportunities should be provided to the local people and regional economic activities should be strengthened.
Chhattisgarh Tourism: Natural and cultural heritage will get national platform
It was agreed in the meeting that the natural beauty, cultural heritage, religious places and tribal tourism of Chhattisgarh will be effectively presented at the national and international level. For this, it was decided to pay special attention to expanding basic facilities at tourist destinations, improving the tourist experience and increasing participation of the local community.
Tourism Infrastructure: Strategy made to give new direction to the tourism sector
The Board of Directors described the decisions taken in the meeting as important for the tourism development of the state. The members expressed confidence that effective implementation of these decisions will give impetus to tourism plans, the tourism identity of the state will be further strengthened and Chhattisgarh will establish its own identity among the major tourist states of the country.
