Three children of the same family died in a fire caused by a short circuit in an electric pole in Kasihwa village of Sidhi district. Expressing grief over the incident, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced an assistance amount of Rs 6 lakh each for the families of the deceased.
Bhopal. A fire caused by short circuit took away the happiness of a family in Kasihwa village of Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. Three innocent children of the same family died tragically in the accident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav immediately took cognizance and described it as very sad and heart-wrenching.
The Chief Minister expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace of the souls of the deceased children. He said that in this difficult time the state government stands strongly with the victim’s family.
Fire broke out from electricity pole in Gopad Banas tehsil of Sidhi
According to the information, this accident happened at around 11:20 am on Saturday morning in village Kasihwa, tehsil Gopad Banas under Gram Panchayat Baghwari of Sidhi district. It was told that there was a sudden short circuit in the electric pole near the house of Ramratan Saket, due to which the fire broke out. In this tragic incident, two daughters of Ramratan Saket, Kumari Ghummu alias Sandhya Saket (about 6 years), Kumari Riddhi (about one and a half years) and son Nagendra (about 3 years) got caught in the fire. All three children died on the spot.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced financial assistance
As soon as information about the incident was received, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed the administration to provide immediate relief. The Chief Minister announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each from the state government to the families of the deceased children. Apart from this, Madhya Pradesh East Region Electricity Distribution Company Limited has also announced a relief amount of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased. In this way, a total assistance amount of Rs 6 lakh will be provided to the family of each deceased.

District administration and Red Cross Society provided immediate help
After the incident, District Administration Sidhi also provided immediate relief. A total of Rs 15 thousand was given by the administration as funeral assistance at the rate of Rs 5 thousand each. Along with this, District Red Cross Society Sidhi provided immediate assistance of Rs 20,000 each to the victim’s family, so that the family could get initial relief.
Mourning spread in the village after electrical accident
There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire Kasihwa village after the death of three small children of the same family. Describing the incident as extremely painful, the villagers have demanded a permanent solution from the administration regarding the security of the electricity system. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has directed the officials to provide all possible assistance to the victim’s family, so that the family does not have to face any problem in this tragic time.
