Ayush Badoni Stumped Out: In the 68th match of IPL 2026, the teams of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) faced each other. In this match, Lucknow’s young batsman Ayush Badoni was seen in a very dangerous mood and he hit fours and sixes on the field. But due to a little carelessness of his own, he lost his wicket in a very strange manner.

Negligence proved costly for Ayush Badoni

Actually, experienced spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling for Punjab Kings in the 7th over of the match. Chahal bowled the fourth ball of the over at a slightly faster pace, well outside the off stump, which also had good bounce. Badoni tried to play a cut shot on this, but the ball went straight into the gloves of wicketkeeper Prabhsimran Singh. Everything was fine until the ball was missed, neither was there any edge to the bat nor was there any danger visible. But then Ayush Badoni raised his back leg present at the crease in the air without any reason.

As soon as Badoni’s foot rose above the crease, Prabhsimran Singh, standing ready behind the wicket, did not delay even a millisecond. In the blink of an eye, he scattered the balls and appealed for stumping. When the third umpire saw the replays, everyone was surprised. Badoni’s feet were in the air at the exact moment when Prabhasimran dropped the bails. In this way, a brilliant innings ended in a very poor and careless manner.

Ayush Badoni played a stormy innings

Ayush Badoni, batting at number three in this match, scored 43 runs in 18 balls at a strike rate of 238.88. During this, 5 fours and 3 sixes were seen from the bat of Ayush Badoni. But he missed scoring his second half-century of the season. This season, only the second Ayush Badoni crossed the 40 run mark. Due to which Lucknow team was successful in getting a good start in this match.
