Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan of development projects worth Rs 552 crore in Singrauli. Crores of rupees were transferred to the accounts of beneficiaries under Ujjwala Yojana and Social Security Pension.

Bhopal/Singrauli. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave major development gifts to Singrauli district on 23 May. During his stay in Singrauli, he inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan of various development works costing Rs 552 crore. Along with this, the Chief Minister transferred assistance amounting to crores of rupees under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and Social Security Pension Schemes to the accounts of the beneficiaries through a single click. The Chief Minister also interacted with the girl students during the program and shared information about various schemes and development works of the state government.

Transfer of crores of rupees under Ujjwala scheme and social security pension.

In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav transferred a grant amount of about Rs 115 crore for three months to the accounts of 24 lakh women of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Apart from this, an amount of more than Rs 202.28 crore was sent to the accounts of more than 33.71 lakh beneficiaries under social security pension schemes through a single click.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is continuously working for the welfare of women, poor, farmers, youth and needy sections. He said that under the Ladli Brahmin Yojana, an amount of Rs 1500 is being given to women every month and the government is fully committed to the interests of the sisters.

Women got economic empowerment through self-help groups

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the women of the state have become economically strong through self-help groups. He said that the government is running many schemes to make women self-reliant. During the program, along with transferring the amount of Social Security Pension Scheme, tricycles were also distributed to the disabled people. The Chief Minister said that the government is working to connect every section of the society with the mainstream.

Singrauli declared the energy capital of the state

Describing Singrauli as the energy capital of Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister said that this district plays an important role in the economy of the state. He said that Singrauli is in the news not only for coal production but also because of the gold mine found here. He said that the state government is fully committed to the overall development of Singrauli. The district has got many big facilities like rail, road and airways, due to which the people here have got great relief in transportation.

Singrauli is progressing rapidly in the field of education and development.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Singrauli is now making its mark in the field of education and knowledge-science also. He informed that this year five students of the district have secured place in the merit list in the MP Board examination. He also informed that four Sandipani schools have been established in the district, due to which better education facilities are being provided to the students.

Government’s focus on water conservation and prosperity of villages

The Chief Minister said that the state government is running new schemes related to electricity, water and irrigation for the prosperity of villages and prosperity of farmers. He said that water conservation work is being done on a large scale in Madhya Pradesh under the River Linking Campaign and Jal Ganga Augmentation Campaign. He said that the aim of the government is to provide the benefits of development to every section and work is being done continuously in this direction.

Appeal to avoid unnecessary expenses and promote mass marriages

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav appealed to the people to adopt simplicity and frugality. He said that due to global circumstances the prices of petrol and diesel have increased, at such a time everyone should avoid unnecessary expenses. He said that do important work, but stay away from unnecessary expenditure. The Chief Minister also stressed the need to promote mass marriage ceremonies.
