Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat against West Indies at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium. After this defeat, ICC has also fined two players of Pakistan team. Pakistan’s fast bowlers Mohammad Abbas and Khurram Shahzad have been found guilty of violating the code of conduct by the ICC. Both these players had used abusive language during the match, after which they were found guilty of Level 1.

Khurram Shahzad’s match fee has been deducted by 15 percent and he has also received one demerit point. After dismissing Shay Hope, Khurram went very close to him and celebrated aggressively. With this defeat, Pakistan was out of the race for the World Test Championship. Now if Pakistan team has to save the series against West Indies, then it will have to win the Port of Spain Test.
