CM Vijay News: From the streets to the Parliament, protests are going on by the opposition party and Congress demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan regarding the NEET paper leak. Now Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Rahul Gandhi has come into action regarding Vijay case.
Chennai (Tamil Nadu): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has come out in support of Congress’s protest against alleged rigging in the NEET exam. He has also condemned the police action taken on the demonstration of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Monday.
Opposition MPs had demonstrated against the government in the Parliament complex wearing black clothes. These included Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. On Tuesday, Congress took out a march on Lok Kalyan Marg, after which police detained Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and several other leaders.

- Furthermore, Vijay demanded abolition of NEET exam. He said that to end this, education will have to be transferred to the State List. At present, education is in the Concurrent List, on which both the Center and the states can make laws.

- Meanwhile, Congress workers in several states across the country on Wednesday held demonstrations condemning the police action and detention of party leaders during the protests in the national capital on July 20. On the Centre’s side, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said the government is ready for a parliamentary discussion on the NEET exam paper leak and related matters.
