LPG and flight tickets
Gas cylinder rates are fixed on the first of every month. Even on the morning of August 1, oil companies will release new prices of commercial and domestic gas cylinders. Along with this, the rates of airplane fuel (ATF) will also change, due to which flight tickets may become cheaper or more expensive.
Getting railway tatkal ticket can be easy
If you often travel by train, then there is good news for you. There may be a major change in the Tatkal ticket booking system of Railways from August 1. There is talk that token system will be started at some places, which will reduce the problem of long queues and repeated queues. With this, ticket booking can become easier and better than before.
Post office gift, sending Rakhi is cheap
The festival of Rakshabandhan is coming and the post office has given a big gift to the sisters. Exemption from submitting documents again and again in bank and insurance
CKYC 2.0 (Central KYC) is starting in banking and mutual funds from 1st August. Its advantage is that now you will not have to give photocopies of your Aadhar card and PAN card again and again to open a new bank account or take a new policy. Your information will be saved in the system and with your permission the banks will automatically extract it.
Sugar prices will not increase during festivals
The festive season is coming, so the government has already made preparations. From August 1, the government has set a limit for traders to deposit sugar. Now no trader will be able to keep more than 4000 quintals of sugar in his warehouse and will have to sell it in the sugar market within 30 days. Due to this, there will be no shortage of sugar in the market and the prices will remain under control.
Your money will be safer in the stock market
SEBI, the stock market controlling body, has changed the rules for ‘buyback’ of companies (i.e. when the company buys back its own shares) from August 1. Now companies will not be able to invest as much money as they want in buyback, for this a limit of 15% has been fixed. Also, this work will have to be completed in 66 days. This will not cause any fraud with common investors.
Heavy penalty will be imposed if ITR is not filed
If you pay income tax and have not yet submitted your ITR, then July 31 is your last chance. If you file tax returns from August 1, you will have to pay late fees i.e. heavy fine. Therefore, to avoid last minute tension, file your return today itself.
