After the blockbuster success of the 2022 film KGF 2, people are excited to watch the next chapter, which will be KGF 3. In a recent interview, Yash finally spoke about the upcoming installment of his successful franchise. The actor shared that the film will be made when the time is right.

Speaking to Variety, Yash acknowledged the fact that everybody is waiting for KGF 3. “But we’ll do it when it’s time, when it’s right,” he said. The actor added that it’s not just about exploiting the IP where people are ready. In his opinion, it is important when people are excited and want to watch it.
That said, the actor added, “Until unless we feel that this is the right thing to do, this is the right story and it fits, the franchise for the sake of monetization or just because the name works is never a goal.” For the unversed, the first two installments of the franchise were directed by Prashanth Neel. The first part was theatrically released in 2018 and four years later, the makers arrived with part two.

Meanwhile, Yash’s upcoming movie, Toxic, has been delayed. The film, directed by Geetu Mohandas, was set to release in theatres on June 4, 2026. However, the makers have decided to postpone it. Although the film is complete, they are currently aligning global distribution and partnerships. They further promise the Yash-starrer will come to theatres on a globally aligned date.
For the unversed, Yash presented a glimpse of his film Toxic at CinemaCon 2026. Speaking of which, the makers stated that presenting the film there and witnessing global response reaffirmed their belief that it deserves to reach its complete potential worldwide.

Meanwhile, Yash has been widely appreciated for playing the role of Rocky Bhai in the KGF franchise. Produced by Hombale Films, the first chapter made a whopping Rs 238 crore at the worldwide box office. On the other hand, KGF 2 earned a staggering Rs 1,215 crore at the global box office.
