With Offers Drying Up, Talented Actress Open to Villain Roles

Aishwarya Rajesh is a talented actress and one of the few Telugu-speaking heroines in the industry.

Though she was born and brought up in Chennai, she speaks fluent Telugu and has always been appreciated for her acting skills.

Her career received a much-needed boost with the blockbuster success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam.

Many expected the film to open new doors for her in Telugu cinema. However, that did not happen.

Her only release after Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was Oh! Sukumari, in which she starred opposite Thiruveer. The film, which was released last week, failed at the box office.

Although she is reportedly in talks for a couple of new projects, none has been finalised so far.

With offers coming in slowly, the actress is now said to be open to playing characters with negative shades instead of waiting only for conventional heroine roles.

According to industry buzz, director Koratala Siva has approached her for a key role with negative shades in his upcoming film starring Nandamuri Balakrishna.

If finalised, it would mark her first major role as an antagonist.

However, there has been no official confirmation from either the actress or the film’s team.
