According to the news of Amar Ujala, former teacher Ashok Kumar alleges that his wife has been physically and mentally harassing him for the last seven years. He claims that he has been locked in a room in the house for the last eight days and is not in a position to come out. When hunger and thirst became unbearable, his brothers’ family living in the neighborhood delivered him food and water through the window. With this support his life is saved. ‘Lost eyesight due to assault’, police also returned

Ashok Kumar alleged that due to continuous beatings on his head and face by his wife, he lost his eyesight and has now become blind. He also says that the wife’s fear is so much that even the relatives and people around could not muster the courage to open the door of the house. Upon receiving the information, police reached the spot, but the victim allegedly refused to open the door fearing his wife. He told the police that he would not leave the room until his wife returned. After this the police team returned.

Demand to send to old age home, appealed to the administration for security

The former teacher has appealed to the administration to take his wife out safely in the presence of the police when she returns. He says that he no longer wants to live in that house and wants to spend the rest of his life in a safe old age home. He has demanded security and appropriate action from the administration.
