People think that wrong eating habits in summer cause problems like loose motion, nausea or vomiting but it is not so. If you do not consume things properly then constipation can also occur. In this condition the body is not able to defecate properly.

Accumulation of dirt in the intestines. Intestines bad health issue

Accumulation of dirt in the intestines… this is a common colloquial term. Medically, it means poor digestion, inability to clean the stomach, gas, bloating and stagnation of stool in the intestines for a long time. Actually, no dirt gets accumulated in the intestines, but due to spoiled lifestyle and bad eating habits, the digestive system starts getting affected to a great extent.

Drinking less water, lack of fiber, eating junk foods, sitting at one place for a long time, stress, lack of sleep and frequent constipation are the reasons for this.

Signs of this problem include not cleaning the stomach properly, constipation or hard stools, flatulence, gas and heaviness, bad breath, loss of appetite and feeling lethargic.

Eat these things to get rid of constipation

Dr. Shoolpani Mishra (Associate Consultant – Gastroenterology, Regency Hospital, Gorakhpur) says that it is common for the problem of constipation to increase in summer, because there is lack of water in the body and the digestive system starts slowing down. In such a situation, it is very beneficial to include some special things in the diet.

Watermelon and Cucumber- The expert said that to avoid the problem of constipation in summer, you should eat things like watermelon and cucumber. Both of these keep the body hydrated and give coolness to the intestines. These activate stomach enzymes which keeps the digestive system healthy. The biggest advantage is that they contain fiber, hence they help a lot in cleaning the stomach.

Consume papaya- Doctor Mishra tells that you can consume papaya to maintain the health of stomach or intestines. It is considered a boon or panacea for the digestive system. He told that papaya works like a natural laxative. Therefore, by eating this our stomach gets cleaned easily.

Isabgol will be useful- Doctor Mishra said that if you want to avoid constipation in summer and are looking for ways to clean your stomach naturally, then you should consume Isabgol. This is a local cheese which contains maximum fiber. Consuming it is very beneficial to maintain gut health.
