Vyas not only scolded BJP MLA from Sevda Pradeep Aggarwal, who had come to seek blessings from the famous saint Sitaram Baba sitting on the throne, but also punched him, pushed him and threw the garland worn by him on him.

Sitaram Baba is known for his distinctive and aggressive style. Some special things about him which make him different from other saints. Baba often uses sharp words from the stage and sometimes in anger pushes the devotees or hits them by throwing garlands. Baba’s devotees and disciples consider his behavior not as ‘displeasure’ but as a ‘special blessing’. Supporters say that Baba asserts such rights only on those whom he considers as his own. Contrary to the controversies, people who know him closely describe him as a simple and cool person like his guru, who remains far away from ostentation.

The incident took place during the ongoing Bhagwat Katha in Berchha village of Datia. In the 36-second video going viral, it is clearly visible that MLA Pradeep Aggarwal arrives with full devotion to garland Baba. As soon as he bows, Baba’s temper rises. Baba starts shouting loudly from Vyas Gaddi and scolding the MLA. Meanwhile, Baba punched the MLA on the back and pushed him back. Baba took off the garland worn by the MLA and threw it towards his face. During this entire incident, MLA Aggarwal remained calm like an obedient disciple and sat in an apologetic posture.
The video of this incident is said to be 4-5 days old, but now it is spreading rapidly on the internet. Two types of opinions are emerging regarding this. One section says that it is a personal and spiritual love between a saint and a disciple. This style of Baba is years old and should not be seen as an insult. At the same time, some people are calling this kind of behavior of a public representative on a public platform as inappropriate and indecent. At present, there has been neither any complaint from MLA Pradeep Aggarwal nor any official clarification from Baba on this entire matter. But one thing is certain, this ‘Mukke Wale Ashirwad’ has brought Sitaram Baba into the headlines across the country.
