‘Secret coaching class’ was going on in Pune

Investigation has revealed that in the last week of April 2026, accused Kulkarni had collected some selected students through his network. It is alleged that Kulkarni ran secret coaching classes for students at his home in Pune, where they were made to write down probable questions and their correct answers. Questions exactly like the original paper

The biggest and shocking aspect of this case came to light when the investigating agencies matched the notebooks of the students with the real NEET-UG 2026 question paper. CBI claims that many questions and answers written in the notebook exactly match those of the real examination held on May 3, 2026. This is the reason why the investigating agencies are now investigating it not just as a paper leak but as a network of organized examination mafia.

Students were made to sit with lakhs of rupees

Investigation has also revealed that many middlemen were active in this entire racket. These people used to contact students and their families by luring them with the promise of success in the medical entrance examination. According to CBI sources, lakhs of rupees were taken from the students and they were included in these so-called “special classes”. The agency is now conducting an in-depth investigation of money transactions, bank accounts, digital records and mobile chats to find out how many students were connected to this network.

Now forensic and technical analysis of all these devices is being done.

7 accused arrested so far

According to CBI, a total of 7 accused have been arrested so far in this case. Of these, five accused have been produced in the court and sent on police remand for seven days. Two other accused arrested from Pune are being brought to Delhi on transit remand. The investigating agency says that in the investigation so far, important clues have been found regarding the real source of the chemistry paper leak and the network that delivered the question papers to the students.

Questions raised again on the examination system

NEET-UG is counted among the most prestigious and sensitive examinations of the country. Every year lakhs of students appear in this examination with the dream of becoming a doctor. In such a situation, allegations of paper leaks and organized networks have raised serious questions about the transparency and security of the examination system. Experts believe that if the allegations are proved in the investigation, then it could prove to be not just a paper leak but a case that hurts the trust in the education system. At present, CBI is busy unraveling the layers of the entire network and trying to find out how deep the roots of this alleged racket are.
