Investigation from multiple angles including short circuit
In the preliminary investigation, it is believed that the fire started from inside the AC coach. However, the real cause of the fire is not yet clear. Railway and fire department teams are investigating from the angle of short circuit, electrical fault or other technical fault. Some passengers also expressed concern over the security arrangements of the Railways and said that amid the scorching heat and the ever-increasing technical pressure, the checking of coaches should be done more strictly.
Questions raised again on railway safety
In the last few years, incidents of fire in trains and railway stations have come to light several times. In such cases, electrical system, wiring or technical faults are often considered the cause. Experts believe that despite the strong safety technology in modern coaches, regular inspection and maintenance is very important.
