HR manager Nida Khan has been arrested in a sexual harassment case at TCS-affiliated BPO unit in Nashik. It is alleged that he suppressed the complaints. Now SIT is investigating this entire matter and the cases pending since 2022 are also being investigated.
Who is Nida Khan: Nida Khan, a human resource (HR) manager from Pune, has been arrested on serious charges related to a BPO unit in Nashik. This unit is said to be associated with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It is alleged that this HR manager ignored the cases of sexual harassment and coercion happening with female employees and possibly even encouraged them.
Nida Khan’s arrest and SIT investigation
According to reports, Nida Khan, who was earlier reported to be absconding, was taken into custody on Friday, April 10. Since then she has become a part of the investigation by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Nashik Police. It is being told that Nida Khan is about 30 years old and she was working as HR Manager in the same BPO unit.
Allegations of negligence in following POSH rules
As an HR manager, Nida Khan’s responsibility was to listen to employee complaints and ensure compliance with POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) rules. But investigation has revealed that he neither took many complaints seriously nor took them to senior officials. This is the reason why the allegations against him are considered even more serious.
Allegations and FIR registered against female employees
Many women employees have lodged FIRs at Nashik Police’s Mumbai Naka and Devlali Camp police stations. He says that he complained repeatedly, but no action was taken against him. Some victims also alleged that they were pressured to remain silent or compromise. Due to this, questions are being raised on the accountability and security system within the company.
Pune-Nashik connection and scope of investigation
Nida Khan is said to be related to Pune, where the police also conducted raids during the investigation. At the same time, she was working in Nashik. The police were also keeping an eye on his movement between the two cities, so that the entire network of the case could be understood.
Viral profiles and claims on social media
When this matter came to light, Nida Khan’s LinkedIn profile went viral on social media. In it, she described herself as an alumnus of Savitribai Phule Pune University and claimed to be associated with TCS. Many claims have also surfaced on social media, such as that she was called “Lady D”, but these claims have not been officially confirmed yet.
Serious allegations and new aspects of investigation
Khan has also been accused of insulting the dignity of women, making criminal threats and alleged religious pressure. The SIT is now trying to find out whether she was acting as an ‘accomplice’ in this entire case. The investigation is also looking into why action was not taken on the complaints coming since 2022. Authorities are trying to determine whether the case is part of a larger pattern of harassment over a long period of time.

It is alleged that Hindu women employees in the BPO division of TCS were facing sexual harassment since 2022. HR had appointed many women under a Muslim officer and they were being forced to offer Namaz, observe Roza and convert to Islam by luring them with salary hike and promotion. So far 9 FIRs have been registered in this case. The police have formed a special team for investigation. So far, 7 people including HR manager Nida Khan have been arrested in this case.
