Do not make these mistakes during weight loss
Stopping any one food group completely- Many people stop eating carbs or fat completely to lose weight, but doing so can cause deficiency of essential nutrients in the body. It is more important to take a balanced diet.
Ignoring rest day- Doing heavy workouts continuously every day can tire the body and the muscles are not able to recover. Giving rest to the body during weight loss is as important as exercising.
Over-reliance on processed snacks- Low-calorie or diet snacks are not always healthy. Many times these contain excess salt, sugar and preservatives, which can increase weight instead of reducing it.
Reducing sleep for more workout- If you are reducing your sleep for extra workout, it can affect the metabolism of the body. Good sleep plays an important role in reducing weight.
Drinking calorie drinks- Cold drinks, packaged juices and coffee and tea with high sugar add extra calories to the body. It is better to stay away from such drinks during weight loss.
Keep these things in mind
Be sure to eat protein, healthy fat and vegetables- By including protein, healthy fat and green vegetables in the diet, the stomach remains full for a long time and the body also gets the necessary nutrition.
Do both cardio and weight training- Not only cardio, but weight training is also important. This helps in reducing fat and strengthening the muscles.
Eat more fiber rich things- Fiber rich foods like fruits, salads, oats and whole grains improve digestion and prevent frequent hunger pangs.
Take 7 to 9 hours of sleep- By getting enough sleep, the body functions properly and hormones remain balanced, which helps in reducing weight.
Keep the body hydrated- Drinking enough water throughout the day detoxifies the body and can also reduce the problem of overeating. Staying hydrated also keeps the energy level better.
