Vivo has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its T series in India. The Vivo T5 Pro 5G arrives on the back of the Vivo T5x 5G. While the Vivo T5 Pro 5G makes several upgrades over its predecessor, the T4 Pro 5G, it also gets a few downgrades and a price hike.

The Vivo T5 Pro price in India starts from Rs 29,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. Moreover, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G is also offered in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB configurations that will set you back Rs 33,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G will go on sale in India starting April 21 through Flipkart, Vivo India e-Store, and offline stores. Vivo is offering an instant discount of up to Rs 3,000 on the T5 Pro 5G for customers with Axis, HDFC, and SBI cards.

The Vivo T5 Pro 5G runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, a downgrade over the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC on the T4 Pro 5G. The chip is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage to improve app loading times and overall responsiveness in daily use.
For heat management, the smartphone includes a 7000mm² vapour chamber cooling system, designed to reduce core temperatures during gaming and intensive tasks, helping maintain stable performance over longer sessions. The Vivo T5 Pro runs Android 16-based Origin OS 6.0 out of the box. Vivo promises four years of major Android OS updates and six years of regular security patches with the T5 Pro 5G.
