Virat Kohli, One8 Commune: Bengaluru’s One8 Commune restaurant, which was in the news because of Virat Kohli, is now closed. This restaurant has been locked following the court order. The Civil Court of Bengaluru ordered the closure of One8 Commune restaurant, the reason behind which was the debt of Rs 2 crore on its owners. It is being told that along with the bill of Rs 2 crore, other payments of the restaurant are pending. This restaurant was being operated by Trio Hills Hospitality, which had not paid the rent for about 6 months.
Virat Kohli broke ties
Virat Kohli has completely ended his association with One8 Commune restaurant. He was earlier the identity of this restaurant. But, now he has not only ended his stake in it but has also removed the name of his brand One8 from it.
Locked due to non-payment of loans
It is being said that not only the rent for the last 6 months was outstanding on One8 Commune, but apart from that, the amount of maintenance charge and revenue share was also outstanding. When nothing happened despite repeated notices, the owner of the building approached the court, from where an order was passed to close the restaurant.
