Actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay’s 10th class marksheet is going viral. He was an average student with 65% marks, with the lowest marks in Mathematics (95) and the highest in Tamil (155). Now he is going to become the CM of Tamil Nadu.

New Delhi: Actor Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar, who is ready to create a new history in Tamil Nadu politics, known as ‘Thalapathy Vijay’, was an “average student” during his school days. The 10th class marksheet of Vijay, who registered a spectacular victory in the 2026 elections, is going viral these days, seeing which even the fans are surprised. According to a report, Vijay completed his high school from a famous matriculation school in Virugambakkam, Chennai. His mark sheet is like this:

Total Marks: 711 out of 1100 (65%)

Tamil (Mother Tongue): Vijay had secured the highest marks in his mother tongue. He had topped this subject by scoring 155 marks out of 200.

Maths: Looking at the mark sheet, it seems that Vijay was a little weak in mathematics. In this subject, he got only 95 marks out of 200, which is the lowest score in his marksheet.

Other topics: He got 206 out of 300 marks in Science, 133 out of 200 in English and 122 out of 200 in Social Science.

College studies were incomplete

Vijay did his early schooling from Fatima School, Kodambakkam and Balalok School, Virugambakkam, Chennai. After this he took admission in the famous Loyola College, Chennai for the degree of ‘Visual Communication’. But due to his keen interest in acting, he left college midway and joined films.

Interestingly, after decades, Vijay recently returned to the same Loyola College. After winning from Tiruchirappalli (East) or Perambur seat, his reaching the same college to collect the certificate of his election victory has become a topic of discussion. It is a matter of pride for his fans to return as a winning politician to the college which he had left midway.

Vijay’s party TVK has broken the dominance of parties like DMK and AIADMK, which have been ruling Tamil Nadu for decades. With a lead of over 100 seats, Vijay is preparing to take oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu soon. In such a situation, this old marksheet of his is proof that even an ordinary student can achieve extraordinary success with his dedication.
