Leopard Attack On Biker In Indore: A delivery boy narrowly escaped his life on Tuesday night in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, when a leopard suddenly appeared in front of him on a deserted road. The video of the incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which the leopard is seen suddenly pouncing towards the bike rider. It was fortunate that the delivery boy showed wisdom and left from there in time.
Leopard suddenly appeared on the road
This incident happened at around 8:30 pm in Bicholi Mardana area of Kanadia police station area of Indore. It can be seen in the video that a delivery boy was going on a bike. Then seeing the leopard roaming on the road, he immediately stopped the bike. After a few seconds the leopard pounced towards him, but then changed direction and moved ahead. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the delivery boy escaped safely.

Entered the bathroom of the house, then ran towards another area
According to local people, after the incident the leopard entered the bathroom of a nearby house. After a few minutes, he left from there and ran towards Shreeji Valley area. As soon as the information was received, the rescue team of Canadian Police and Forest Department reached the spot and started the search operation in the entire area. Police are scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed nearby so that the activities of the leopard can be detected.
People advised to be cautious
The forest department and police have advised people of nearby colonies and villages to remain alert. As a precautionary measure, police patrolling has been increased in the area and people have been appealed not to leave their homes at night without essential work. Officials believe that due to continuous heavy rains the leopard strayed from the Khudai forest and reached the residential area. At present the Forest Department team is running a campaign to catch the leopard safely.
