A video of a horror-themed restaurant in Varanasi has gone viral, in which the staff is scaring a child badly. This incident is being strongly criticized on social media for causing mental trauma to the child.
Varanasi: Nowadays restaurants are adopting various new ideas to attract customers. Some are experimenting with food, while others are creating a completely different atmosphere and theme of the restaurant. But, a restaurant in Varanasi is embroiled in controversy because of one such unique experiment. A ‘horror themed’ restaurant here is being heavily criticized on social media. The reason is a video, in which the restaurant staff is seen scaring a small child badly.
This case pertains to ‘Skeleton Horror Restaurant’ located in Chetganj area of Varanasi. As the name suggests, the theme of this restaurant is based on ghosts and skeletons. The employees here also scare the customers by wearing scary costumes of ghosts and skeletons. The restaurant itself shared a video on its Instagram, in which an employee dressed as a ghost goes near a small child and scares him. The child is trembling with fear and crying, ‘Please Papa no’.
But, the employee does not stop scaring him. The surprising thing is that even the child’s parents do not say anything to stop him. It is clearly visible in the video how scared the child is.
This video has been viewed more than 6 crore (60 million) times on social media. Most of the people are criticizing this video. People say that the child is very scared, this is no joke. Many users commented that this incident can have a deep impact on the child’s mind and can also cause ‘childhood trauma’. People are also blaming the child’s parents as to why they did not stop the staff from doing so. However, there are some people who find this video funny.
