UP International Trade Show 2026 will be organized on 25-29 September. MSMEs, startups and private companies will get opportunities in this. Developed as a global sourcing platform, the show will focus on innovation and government schemes.
Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 will be organized this time with a new style and bigger objectives. Preparations have been intensified on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Additional Chief Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Export Promotion Department, Alok Kumar reviewed the preparations by holding a meeting at Lok Bhawan. It was decided that the trade show will be organized between 25 to 29 September 2026, so that international buyers and sellers can plan better than before.

Global Sourcing Platform: Trade show will get international level
It was also decided in the meeting that this time the trade show will not be limited to mere exhibition, but will be made a strong global sourcing platform. Innovation based business models from sectors like dairy, industry, fisheries and food processing will be the main attraction on this platform. This will increase the chances of the state’s products getting recognition in the international market.
Participation of departments and effective performance of schemes
Senior officials of several departments including Invest UP, Agricultural Marketing, Foreign Trade and UPLC attended the meeting. The Additional Chief Secretary clarified that the main focus this time will be “effective communication of achievements to the public”. For this, all departments have been instructed to display their plans and achievements in an attractive and clear manner.
Stall allocation and fee structure: Private sector will also get a chance
Stall allocation and fee structure for the trade show has also been decided.
- Stall rates will be between Rs 7,500 to Rs 8,000
- 10% extra charge on stalls open on both sides
- 20% extra charge on stalls open on three or four sides
Along with this, instructions have also been given to provide adequate opportunities to the private sector and small corporates, so that maximum participation can be ensured.
Startup India Focus: Youth will get new opportunities
“CM Yuva” pavilion will be further strengthened to promote youth entrepreneurship. Dairy, Industry, Fisheries and Food Processing departments have been instructed to present their innovation based models, so that the youth especially of NCR and Gautam Buddha Nagar can be inspired to start new startups.
Event will be held in Expo Mart, emphasis on maximum participation
The trade show will be organized at the Expo Mart, where departments will be allotted different halls and areas. It was also emphasized in the meeting that more and more industries, startups and institutions should participate in it, so that this event can give a new direction to the economic progress and entrepreneurship of the state.
