According to the Meteorological Department, the weather may remain clear and dry in most of the districts of Western Uttar Pradesh on May 2, 2026. At present the probability of rain here is said to be very less. At the same time, light rain or drizzle may be seen in many districts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. The districts where there is a possibility of rain include Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Basti, Gonda, Deoria, Ballia, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Jaunpur and Mirzapur. Meteorologists say that due to movement of clouds and increase in humidity, the weather may change in many areas of Purvanchal.
