According to a report by Bhaskar, the accident happened at around 5 pm in Mohalla Mushtark in Mirapur. CCTV footage shows a group of children playing with a handcart parked in the lane. Some children were sitting on the cart while others were pushing it from behind as part of the game.
During the play, six-year-old Asjad came in front of the moving cart. Suddenly, the handcart moved forward at speed and the child got trapped between the cart and a wall nearby.
The impact of the collision was very strong. In the video, the boy can be seen trying to move away after the accident. However, after taking a few steps, he collapses on the ground.
Locals rushed to help the child
Residents living nearby quickly gathered at the spot after hearing the noise and seeing the child injured. Family members and local people rushed him for medical treatment.
