UP News: A new agricultural revolution will start in UP with the big plan of Yogi government, cow dung will become super fertilizer with the new technology of IIT Kanpur. Up News Iit Kanpur Cow Dung Organic Fertilizer Technology Yogi Adityanath Government Natural Farming Model Up

High quality organic fertilizer based on cow dung and cow urine has been prepared with the new microbial and genetic engineering technology of IIT Kanpur. Yogi government is preparing to implement it on a large scale by linking it with cow conservation, natural farming and rural employment.

Lucknow. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is going to take a new initiative towards linking cow conservation with rural economy, natural farming and employment. For the first time in the state, genetic engineering technology based on cow dung, cow urine and microbial research will be used in farming.

This technology developed by researchers at IIT Kanpur is being seen as a new cow-based revolution in farming. It has been claimed that the organic fertilizer prepared from this will be many times more effective than conventional organic fertilizer.

High quality fertilizer will be prepared with the microbial technology of IIT Kanpur

This technology has been developed by Akshay Srivastava, a PhD researcher at IIT Kanpur. It combines modern scientific processes like genetic engineering, microbial isolation, enzyme extraction and biopolymer development with cow dung and cow urine based natural resources.

With the help of this technology, high quality organic and natural fertilizer has been prepared. Researchers have also developed special microbial concentrate according to the crop, from which about 2000 kg of organic fertilizer can be prepared from just 1 kg of concentrate.

Organic fertilizer will be 15 times more effective than traditional fertilizer.

According to researchers, this new fertilizer will be about 15 times more effective than traditional organic fertilizer. Its nutritional capacity is also said to be about 5 times more. The biggest thing is that the time taken to prepare it will also be very less. With this, better quality fertilizers will be available to the farmers at lower cost and the productivity of farming will increase.

There will be more production capacity in less quantity

In the initial phase of the technology, it has been planned to prepare 50 kg organic fertilizer bags. Its requirement in the fields will be around 350 to 400 kg per hectare, which is much less than traditional organic fertilizer. This will also reduce the transportation, labor and utility costs of farmers. Besides, this fertilizer has also been certified by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research after testing on more than 40 quality and nutritional parameters.

Scientific bio fertilizer will be made from cow dung and cow urine

This fertilizer is being prepared from cow dung, cow urine, agricultural waste and other natural organic sources. Through microbial processing and enzyme technology, the quality of nutrients in it has been increased manifold. Apart from this, work is also going on on new microbial technologies to improve cow dung based biogas production. High quality customized organic fertilizers are being prepared from the slurry and waste biomass left after biogas production in just 3 to 4 days.

Cow shelters will become waste to wealth model

Yogi government is working towards making cow sheds self-reliant through this technology. Now cow sheds will not remain just animal protection centres, but will be developed as centers for organic fertilizer production, biogas production and additional income. Cow dung collection and microbial processing units are being established in many districts of the state. Here cow dung, cow urine and agricultural waste will be converted into high quality organic fertilizer through scientific process.

Women self-help groups will get employment

Women self-help groups, farmer producer organizations and rural farmers are also being associated with this project. Women will be given participation in training, production and distribution work. The government believes that this will create new opportunities for employment and self-employment in rural areas and strengthen the self-reliant economy of villages.

Natural farming and soil fertility will get a boost

Experts believe that this initiative can prove helpful in reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers. This will increase soil fertility, improve agricultural waste management and also promote natural farming. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is already working on several schemes linking cow conservation and rural economy. Now this technology of IIT Kanpur can create a new model of cow-based farming and organic fertilizer production in the state.

UP can become a big center of organic fertilizer technology

Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Cow Seva Commission, Shyam Bihari Gupta said that if this model is successful on a large scale, then Uttar Pradesh can become the biggest center of cow-based scientific farming and organic fertilizer technology in the country.
