What is the UNESCO Prize 2026 Application Process?
UNESCO Awards 2026 cannot be applied for directly. For this a process has to be followed. In which- Interested candidates in India will have to send their entries through Indian National Commission for Cooperation with UNESCO (INCCU). Each country can send only a maximum of 3 nominations. INCCU will make the first selection, then further names will be sent to UNESCO. The last date for sending applications to INCCU is 5 May 2026 while the last date for online application to UNESCO is 12 May 2026 (till midnight).
How to Apply for UNESCO Prize 2026?
- First of all, prepare complete details of your project or work.
- Then send the nomination through INCCU (usually from the relevant ministry or official channel).
- After selection, one will have to go to UNESCO website and fill the online form.
- Applications will be accepted in English or French language only.
