IPL Points Table 2026 (Updated), After Delhi Capitals vs Rajasthan Royals Match: Delhi Capitals finally put an end to their losing streak in IPL 2026. The season had been full of ups and downs for Akshar Patel’s team so far and it had lost in the last 3 consecutive matches. But now in its ninth match, Delhi made a strong comeback and won against Rajasthan Royals by achieving a big target of 226 runs. This is Delhi’s fourth win this season and it has jumped one place in the points table.

This change happened in the points table
This victory has improved Delhi’s position in the points table and kept the hopes of reaching the playoffs alive. Capitals now have 8 points in their name with 4 wins in 9 matches and thus they have moved up from seventh place to sixth. In this matter, Delhi left behind Chennai Super Kings, which till now was in sixth position with 6 points.
For the second consecutive day, a team missed the opportunity to dislodge Punjab Kings from first place. A day before this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a chance to reach number-1 but due to defeat, they remained at second position. In this match, Rajasthan had a chance to move ahead in this race but it also missed it. Royals currently have 12 points in their name from 10 matches and remain at the fourth position.
