NASA Scientist Near Death Experience: Former NASA scientist Ingrid Honkala has claimed that she came close to death three times and each time she experienced another world. Is death not the end? Know his mysterious Near Death Experience and his big claim on science-spirituality.
Ingrid Honkala Story: Is death really the last stage of life, or does it open the door to another world? For centuries man has been trying to find the answer to this question. Science considers it to be the last state of the body, while spiritual beliefs talk about the existence of consciousness after death. Now the claims of former NASA scientist Ingrid Honkala have once again intensified this debate.
Ingrid Honkala, born in Bogota, Colombia, says that she came very close to death three times and each time she experienced such a mysterious world, which is not easy to describe completely in words. He claims that on the other side of death there is no fear, but a consciousness filled with deep peace and light.

First Near Death Experience at age 2
According to Ingrid, her first Near Death Experience happened when she was just 2 years old. She had fallen into a tank of icy water near the house. Breathing stopped in cold water and the body started responding. But then suddenly he felt a strange peace.
Ingrid says that she felt as if she had come out of her body. He looked at himself from above and at the same time felt his mother going away from home to the office. He claims that he contacted his mother in his mind, after which his mother suddenly realized that something was wrong and immediately returned home. He was taken out of the water tank in time and his life was saved.
“Time did not exist after death.”
Now 55 years old, Ingrid says that the experience of death was not scary. According to him, it was as if time had ended at that stage. He felt himself not as a body, but as light and energy. Ingrid claims that she realized that everything in the universe is interconnected. He also shared the experience of communicating with some “celestial figures”. He says that there was no pain, fear or restlessness, but only deep peace.
Came close to death again at the age of 25 and 52
Ingrid’s story was not limited to childhood only. At the age of 25, she met with a serious bike accident. After this, during a surgery at the age of 52, his blood pressure suddenly went down drastically. In both the incidents she came very close to death. She says that every time she felt the same peaceful experience. In Ingrid’s words, “I am no longer afraid of death. Every time I feel as if I am returning to the same place of light and peace.”
Science vs spirituality debate intensifies again
Ingrid Honkala is not just an ordinary person making spiritual claims. She has a PhD in Marine Science and has worked in NASA as well as the US Navy. This is why his experiences have attracted the attention of both the scientific and spiritual communities.
However, critics consider these experiences to be the result of lack of oxygen to the brain or neurological confusion. Many scientists say that when death approaches, the brain starts giving abnormal reactions, due to which such visions and experiences can be experienced. But Ingrid does not agree with this. He believes that science and spirituality are not opposites, but different ways of understanding each other.
Written in the book – “Death is not the end”
In her upcoming book Dying to See the Light, Ingrid writes that consciousness is not just a product of the brain. According to him, consciousness is a fundamental part of the universe and death is just a transition from one state to another. His claims may not have been scientifically proven, but they have once again revived the question to which humans have been searching for the answer for thousands of years – is death really the end?
